Horizontal lifter for horizontal lifting and moving – flat and stable

This Horizontal lifter, fitted with a single strap, is used for lifting and moving patients horizontally using a ceiling hoist system, and can be telescoped to shorten the length for easy storage.

More time to care
In intensive care units, it often takes as many as 5 to 8 people to undertake a horizontal lift or to transfer a critically ill patient correctly.
But when using the Guldmann Horizontal Lifter, the number of staff can be greatly reduced to carry out the same procedure safely.

More room to move
Intensive care units and other similar medical facilities are often crowded with both staff and equipment, forcing care staff to work in awkward positions.

Using the Guldmann horizontal lifter means the number of staff needed for lifting procedures can be greatly reduced, which gives other staff more room and better conditions in which to work. The Horizontal lifter is fully compatible with the Guldmann GH3 ceiling hoist and it is easy to control the centre of gravity of the lift via the lifting module’s hand control unit.

The carefully considered design of this horizontal lifter means it is easy to move around, and when not in use it only takes up a minimum of space.
The foldable horizontal lifter is intended for lifting and moving of patients in a horizontal position.

This in turn helps ensure better controlled, safer procedures and fewer back injuries as a result of unsafe patient handling. At the same time, patient comfort is improved and there is less risk of accidents or injuries. The smart telescopic arms make it easy to store the collapsible lifter in a conveniently smaller format when not needed. It can be stored in a wall-mounted bracket that folds the telescopic arms together or alternatively on a special trolley for transport and storage.

This Horizontal lifter, fitted with two straps, is used for lifting and moving patients horizontally using a ceiling hoist system, and can be telescoped to shorten the lenght for easy storage. To be used together with GH3 Twin ceiling hoist.

Trolley – easy and convenient

Horizontal lifters take up only a minimum of space when stored on this special trolley making it easy to move them from room to room. A single Horizontal lifter can meet the horizontal lifting and moving requirements in several rooms.

The Horizontal lifter telescopes automatically when lowered into the transport trolley.

Horizontal Lifting Support, Variable (stepless adjustment)

Horizontal lifting support – for moving in horizontal positions

The Horizontal lifting support with stepless weight adjustment, together with a horizontal lifting sling is used with a ceiling hoist or mobile lifter for moving people who have to be kept in horizontal positions.

The Horizontal lifting support is used in situations where a flat lift of the patient is required from a horizontal starting position. The position can be completely horizontal or it can be adjusted with the stepless adjustment of the centre of gravity so the angle is best suited to the actual lifting requirement. The infinitely variable weight adjustment is activated by a turning handle.

The Horizontal lifting support is stored in a wall-mounted holder and connects and disconnects to the ceiling hoist directly while still in the holder to avoid manual handling.

Using Horizontal Lifting Support, Variable (stepless adjustment)

Horizontal Lifting Support, 10 positions

The Horizontal lifting support can be set in ten different lifting positions. The support is suspended in a snap hook, which can be moved to the different lifting positions.

The horizontal lifting support is able to lift up to 375 kg and can be used with GH3 ceiling hoists or Guldmann mobile lifter.
