Etac Manual Transfer Systems

The Etac manual transfer products are developed according to the principles that rely on the natural pattern of movement, weight transfer, knowledge about friction points and ethics.

• A transfer board is intended to bridge short gaps when performing seat to seat transfers.
• The board's low friction upper surface allows the user to transfer either independently or with assistance.
• Transfer boards can be used when transferring between bed and wheelchair / shower chair, between wheelchair / chair / commode chair or to and from the car.

Etac 3B–Board

• The Etac 3B–Board is a stable and simple transfer board with a traditional curved shape.
• The board can be placed either curve forward or curve backward depending on the transfer situation and surrounding obstacles.
• The 3B–Board's length allows transfer across wider gaps. (e.g. in and out of a car)
• Safe Working Load: 150kg

Etac E–Board with Wings

Etac E–Board

• The Etac E–Board is a thin and flexible transfer board that allows easier application and removal.
• The E–Board Compact is smaller and lighter. As it is easily carried, it is suitable for the more active and independent user.
• Available in 2 models and 4 sizes: E–Board has wings along the sides, which can be bent up or down.
• This provides more sturdiness and stability, and the upward wing is used to protect against the wheel of the wheelchair.
• Available in 2 lengths, 60 and 75 cm.
• The E–Board Compact is smaller and lighter and is easily carried making it suitable for the more active and independent user.

• Available in 2 lengths, 60 and 45 cm.
• The 45 cm board is more suitable for active and independet users, while the 60 cm boards suits the most common transfer situations.
• A 75 cm board is suitable for longer transfer, eg. in and out of a car.
• Safe Working Load: 150kg

• The Etac Butterfly is a long, wide and stable transfer board.
• It has cut outs for positioning against the wheel of the wheelchair and non-slip pads on the underside, which allows for good positioning and to help prevent it from sliding out of place.
• The Etac Butterfly has a larger sitting and sliding area, which is helpful when the transfer needs to be made in short movements.

• The Etac Butterfly can be used with the special Butterfly GlideWing, which is mounted on the board.
• The Glide Wing slides along the board and provides an additional sliding function during the entire transfer.
• Safe Working Load: 250kg

Etac Dolphin

• The Etac Dolphin is a sturdy and stable transfer board designed for transfer to the toilet.
• This board has cut outs for positioning against the wheel of the wheelchair.
• Non-slip pads on the underside allow good positioning and avoids sliding out of place.
• The cut out allows the user to remain on the board while on the toilet.
• Safe Working Load: 150kg

Etac PediTurn

A swivel cushion for the floor

• The Etac PediTurn is a swivel cushion that facilitates transfer between sitting positions, such as bed to wheelchair.
• Useful for transfers in and out of a car.
• It is used when the user cannot move their feet during the transfer.
• Etac PediTurn is a soft cushion suitable when the user is not wearing shoes.
• It has a non-slip surface on both sides to avoid sliding out of position.
