Still the most common, Wooden Walking Sticks have been around for years. Wooden crook handle sticks are durable and strong and lightweight.
REMEMBER: They must be cut to the specific height you require. You cannot change the height except to make it lower! For that reason we strongly advise customers to err on the side of cutting the stick to a longer length and then working down slowly.

The Swan Neck grip handle brings the handle over the top of the shaft of the walking stick allowing the user to put more weight onto the walking stick. As the pressure is straight down, the rubber ferrule is less likely to slip. The swan neck grip handle is the best handle for the unstable user who puts a lot of weight on their walking stick.

Using a Quad Stick
  • A Quad Stick provides good stability.
  • They can also be used on stairs, unlike walkers.
  • A Quad Stick can stand next to you and will not fall over when you sit or need both hands.
  • Do not use the Quad Stick to pull yourself out of the chair as it may tip over and cause injury.
  • Stand up first using the chair, and then use the Quad Stick handle.
  • It is important to discuss with a therapist before deciding whether a small base or large base is best.
